I have these Mars black iridium, I believe, serial number M001112. What can yall tell me about these? And I have a box with a hand printed serial number. Is that normal? The box and glasses don't match, I know they don't match. Not going to sell them together.

All Mars sales here have to be offered to me first before anyone else. Lol. If you need opinions, it’s best to show photos and tell us about condition of the frame and lenses. How loose or tight the bridge may be. As far as handwriting the numbers. I’m not sure if I’ve seen X-metals boxes in any other way.🤙

This is an X-metal discussion thread and we’re discussing a Mars. So good enough. A matching box and coin certainly adds value to you pair. You haven’t really discussed the exact condition of the frames finish, lenses, and nose bridge. A good condition Mars can go between $600-$700. Or can get cheaper if lenses are shot and glasses need a tune-up. For some people, a box with coin can add $100-$200. I believe I just saw a regular Mars being sold here for a little over $900. I’m a cheap SOB that goes for beaters so I can avoid those prices. Lol.

Something not right with those mars
Look at the bridge and the tiny pins. The square portion of the orbitals that mate to the bridge are too square to be legit.....IMHO
Really? Not just early production or bad camera angle? I was thinking about sending them to you to tighten them up, but if they're fake... I'd like more opinions on this. What kind of pics would you like to see to be sure?

Well between Lopaka and X-Man you got two of the best experts here looking at em.

I kinda see what X-Man may be saying though.

Might be light or camera angles. See the area I circled in red. Looks odd…kinda flattish on top. The left orbital almost seems canted a bit…but that could be a loose or degraded Nose Flex Coupler.

Do you have an iPhone or iPhone something that can do macro or closer pics? I’d say front and back of the nose bridge area…and one from the top of the nose bridge.

🪖👍

I took the nose bridge flex couplers( completely deteriorated) out and cleaned them up, so it is really loose right now. New linegear parts ordered. I'll post more pics in a bit
