You know, with an exception or two I've never really followed "expanded universe" books from TV / movie franchises. Though not out of disdain; I'm sure they're engaging and enjoyable.
But I did read that they are not using storylines from the Star Wars "expanded universe" in this new trilogy. In fact, Lucas is on record saying that Disney eventually threw out rough story treatments for the third trilogy, which he wrote before he decided not to make a third trilogy. So, we're in uncharted waters...
Science Vs. Cinema co-creator James Darling has mashed together the ultimate SUPERCUT for Star Wars: THE FORCE AWAKENS using all 3 trailers and the Comic-Con BTS reel.Interesting - I wonder if it came from the studio as a "supercut" or if somebody just took the official trailer and spliced in extra scenes from the earlier teasers?
(even the digital touch ups he did to the original Star Wars trilogy sucked and angered fans).
Okay, The Kid is officially Star Wars obsessed...
Every night, they're the only stories she wants me to tell. They're the only movies she wants to watch. She woke me yesterday morning, told me she dreamed about Star Wars the night before. I asked her which part; she said, "the second and third movies. It took all night..."
We were at "gramma's" for dinner last night, she had taken some fresh blueberries and frozen them as a nice frozen treat (why not just buy frozen blueberries IDK) and The Kid was eating them, nearly finishing them off. "Gramma" tells her, "you eat all of those and I'll get some more and freeze them."
The Kid blurts out, "in carbonite???"
Heck you did a better job than what Disney can do to on getting new younger fans into the saga!!Okay, The Kid is officially Star Wars obsessed...
