I was reaching for my wallet.. Then read its 3d printed titanium. Not even xmetal
To be fair, Xmetal is just grade 5 titanium which these very well could be
I thought Xmetal was part titanium, and had other alloys
My ole man @Nucchem had them analyzed recently I think 93 percent titanium
You’re both correct, grade 5 is a standard alloy (mix) of titanium and other metals
Xmetal is grade 5 titanium which is probably the most typical titanium alloy you’ll find. It has all kinds of stuff in it, but it’s mostly titanium, vanadium, and aluminum.
There’s other grades like grade 2 which is commercially pure, but much softer and less corrosion resistant, and grade 23 which is sometimes used in medical applications.
