Last night. I cleared my nightstand. I fell asleep looking at it. I woke this morning and took a moment looking at it while I drank some coffee. I’m waiting on a Metal 3.0 counter top to be delivered it will match the other 3.0 that I have. Book ends to the shotgun display case.

The wait is over. I sat on my front porch patiently waiting for the ups person. I know the time that he makes his rounds through our neighborhood. I heard his truck. Anticipation built. Wait….is that my delivery today? Minutes felt like hours. Sure enough he pulled up in front of my house. I smiled. We made eye contact. That meant it was my house that he was delivering to. As he unloaded the box, I offered him a soda. Which he excepted. I signed for it. Quickly rushed into the garage and opened the box. My smile grew bigger. So here it is for all to see. The highly coveted.
