So the Canadian $ has gone down (relative to the USD) since the pandemic situation. Gonna be an extra kick in the pants if I order cross border. Any other countries feeling the same burden?

Until they closed the border a few days ago, definitely.
Much of our local grocery and pharmacy stock went Stateside, but this has been going on for years.
Buying US$100 for CDN$143 only accelerated the process.
No US transactions for me...
