Changing Encoder lenses?

You can see the ears of the lens through the back of the frame on the encoder

If they plan on having customers pop these off I think I'll pass. They will end up looking like the ears on the new zero when you remove them. They get damaged and end up a little wobbly afterwards.

Hi everyone,

We received an email today listing some new items were getting in store. One of the items listed was Encoder replacement lenses! Has anyone figured out how to remove the lens from the frame? I thought it couldn't be done
When you see them, can you message me?

Yeah Oakley emailed me and conveyed that there is no guarantee that they will even be produced again speaking of the Oakley Encoder themselves

Too bad there is not a number to speak directly with the people involved at OaklandToo bad there is not a number to speak directly with the people involved at Oakley

Seriously?? It seems like they already canned the Kato X frame, now they might get rid of the Encoder frame too?

I wonder if they’re having tons of them go back with warranty issues, katos being glued , encoder can’t swap lenses like evzero but costs way more.

I personally think the encoders should last, it’s a less breakable version of the kato
