Different Bob Head versions?

Man, now I got even more questions, but these things are just too cool. I'm assuming the prototype Bob Heads are versions that never made it out of the test labs. The prototpyes each have the description "Bob Head Prototype Stereolith", plus I read something about the use of stereolith machine - could it be that they were using early SLA printers for making prototypes?

Indeed, it may well have been. After all, it would have needed to have accuracy and be able to create prototypes 'on the fly'.
