Gen 1 Square Wire vs. Big Square Wire?

I dont have any pictures but they are quite a bit different. The original Square Wire is made of a quite thin frame (same as E Wire), big lens. The BSW is a much heavier, thicker sexier frame. The lens size I believe is a little smaller on the BSW. The BSW also has spring hinges and the frame is much more likely not to get bent accidentally.

I don’t have a gen.1 Square wire, but @GRFMotorsports is correct; it’s frame is identical to the Gen.1 E Wire, but with squared orbitals:
Big Square Wire has similarly sized orbitals @56mm, but a much more robust frame, weighing 34g.

Just worked on two pairs together - the new gen big sq wire & the 1st gen.
They’re almost the same size. The newer gen is fractionally smaller around the top orbital but only 1/2-1mm WavecloudCustoms

To be honest I’d have more faith in the 1st gen wire. Simple hinges, not sprung.
