Had a customer come in today and ask prices on some graphic work....
i told him i'd only charge him $40 for some simple work...
He told me alright...he'd return later when he had money.
After a while he shy-ly asked if he could trade me a 1st gen iPod touch
for some graphic work because he won't be able to come up with the money soon.
he seemed like a cool guy,so i said sure why not.
It was about some 15 minute work for me. So i went ahead and did it.
I have an iPhone 4s, so the iPod was pretty much useless to me.
So naturally,it hit Craigslist within 10 minutes of the customer leaving.
I posted it and within an hour or so.... someone contacted me, asking if i would be willing to trade.
I asked for what.... usually in my area, ignorant people like to
trade pit bulls, pirated software...and other useless SH*T that no one would ever accept as a trade.
well... to my surprise... the guy replies with... "Some O's"!

So....15 minutes of work,and some genius craigslisting...and about 3 hours later....

lol... 1st gen iPod Touch's are ancient... i would of traded that iPod for lunch... haha.
speaking of which! i once traded a cousin of mine to a nice steak dinner as a trade for an iPhone 3GS!
That was one of the sweetest deals i've ever made. Back in the day of my 3GS. lol.

you'd be surprised how many people are willing to trade Oakleys for ANYTHING!
You will definitely get some douche bags with fakes... and then you'll have to
make them understand that you don't care how almost original they look...lol.
