Re-reading my OP, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Japanese movements, but that within the Seiko lineup, the movement of the GMT wasn't high-end. Especially when compared to the Swiss movement in the Judge.

That said, I love my heavy-ass GMT...

I've got a Time Tank that released under that name. Would this increase the value any over a regular Minute Machine? I suppose the only difference would be the box which has the original labels.

There really isn't any difference in value. A lot of people can't even tell the difference. The "Oakley" and "Swiss made" icons are in different places.

Started to look at 12 gauges.. price range for them.. ebay is a indicator just not a good one sometimes.. lol..
