How to tell my Over The Tops are real??

I have a pair of these for sale on eBay with a starting bid of $400. Includes box, bag and all literature. The owner told me they had never been worn. They look brand new.

I knew nothing about these glasses until a few weeks ago. I see what people are asking for them on eBay. Is my $400 opening bid about right? Too high? Too low?

What would you recommend?

Its an auction. Start it at $1 so a bunch of buyers lock into it. It will still go up over $350 but thats how you maximize profits on ebay auctions

OTT complete goes for $400 max fair market value. Essentially, the common trend what I'm seeing is you are listing items as a bid...but entry bid is 90-110% of the fair market value. So realistically, what will happen is you are only going to get 1-2 bids and nobody will compete or want to compete.

Thanks. The only thing I had to go on was what people are asking for them on ebay. Right now there are many pair on there for $650 to $1400. I know asking and selling are two different things, but I haven't had enough time to see what they have been selling for.t

Going by the asking prices I was seeing, I was asking anywhere from 40 to 65%. Thanks for the advice though. I'm new at the eBay thing and I've got a lot more stuff coming and appreciate all the advice I can get.

The pair I'm selling include all the literature and box and they are in perfect condition. They look brand new.

I'm working toward lowering my starting bid, but it's kind of scary to do, especially for the more expensive stuff.

You gotta trust the process and know your stuff.

However, you should consider selling some of your oakley stuff here on the forum. You will avoid auctions and 12% ebay fees
