Hydro Dipping

I apologize in advance if I'm doing this wrong, I just joined thirty minutes ago. This might sound dumb but can you hydro dip unobtanium? I was thinking of getting a pair of turbines dipped in a camo pattern with the deep blue prizm lens and blue icon, but didn't know whether I should remove the ear sock or not. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The sock is a silicone compound designed to repel moisture. I don't think it'll adhere very well. I suggest taking them off.
