Nortika this is the same thing atticus did to my thread. He had to give his opinion when it wasnt asked for. When confronted he presented his opinion as facts.

I think the idea of rust on a plastic frame is kind of cool. Not so much for a metal frame. But I think you could make it look cool in a case. Have a corner with a couple rust finish frames, a rusty vault, maybe some sand...

Not something of interest to me though. Guess the process of rusting the metal is time consuming and expensive.

Not to mention arduous and obsessive steps are taken to prevent rust in every aspect of any personal possession in your everyday life.... if rust is now fashionable and appealing then I’m no longer sure what country we live in...haha

They were specifically made to prevent from ever achieving the form they are now in.... I guess the irony is appealing to some under the grounds of being “artistic”

that’s what made x-metals so amazing and was a major marketing and selling point when the frame debuted... if Oakley would have said that the frame would one day look like that on its own when they were launched....they would have never sold a pair..... it’s because Oakley made them the way they did that alterations like this can even be achieved.

That’s been a big problem over the last couple of years, when the forum first started, the exchange was for selling not discussion, except questions on the item for sale, if you didn’t like the price you moved on then it sits, instead we get it bumped over and over or until it gets out of hand and gets closed. Which really isn’t fair to the person selling, who has every right to put any price he wants on anything.

My opinion exactly. The seller chooses the price not the buyer. If you dont like it dont buy it. Instead I see alot of harrassment which is completely pushing the actual buyers away from the thread. I had 82 replies and none pertained to actually buying the item.
