People throw those words "brand new" and "never worn" around a lot....... But if the lenses are scratched..... Somebody's been wearing them. You can try fee-bay too And probably sell em pretty quick at those prices.

Thank you. Yes, they were bought 7-8 years ago I believe and have sat in a bag on a shelf in a closet. Lens were stored in the factory foam sleeves in box and zero scratches on them or the frames. Would love to unload as a set but will sell individually to get the most value out of them.

If the arms are only marked with 55-21 they would both be 4th gen frames.
No, 4th gen frames have nothing at all on the arm :)

If they have the size (that's what 55-21 is) and no SKU, it means they are OCP (Oakley Custom Program) frames from the 5th generation. The SKU denotes both frame finish and lens and, as the OCPs came without lenses so the buyer could choose, they weren't able to define the SKU.

Which also explains the lack of x-metal box - these were typically stuffed in the usual OCP card box, rather than the much nicer x-metal box.

Will that have an impact on the current value? I’d like to sell them within the next month or so. No real rush.

Carbon with black Iridium Polarized available once I’veet the forum requirements. Extra lens available.

VR-28 black Iridium Polarized

I will sell things individually or do discounts for the set or multiple purchase. Also have a craftsman screwdriver that will open the frames. Comes with extra pairs of nose pads as well.

You could probably sell them for more on eBay. Folks on here have their price then there’s the Ebay price. Just may take a little longer. Don’t lowball yourself.
