Just received notification that it's on its way with UPS after being one of the last to put in an order on the Oakley UK website. I don't think that anyone ahead of me on that dispatch list should be worried about cancellations.

Or in a month they will release another non serialized racing jacket with a minor change like the lens color just like what was done with the muzm mumbos and the silver eye jacket.

Why couldn’t they do that with the ott huh

It'll be in their facebook ads for the next 2 years as well. I still get Oakley store ads that show the Mumbo set in stock...

My conspiracy theory is Oakley/lux doesn’t care at all about these MUZM pieces, it’s just click-bait for them to send out to the masses. When the general public find out it’s not available they buy a different ’similar‘ pair. Case in point- all the red tiger pairs are now at the top of the New sunglasses page.

Of course it's great marketing for the masses, but thankfully they do these things for people like us. Sure you're likely to not get one, I've been there, but they aren't participation trophies.

I think it's really cool that they do these so limited. It makes them more special when you manage to get one. If they did 5,000 or so of these they'd be selling for half off on Amazon and Ebay in a month or two. (SubZero MUZM). I wouldn't have sold mine if they were more limited.

What sucks is how many people manage to get them for the sole purpose of re-selling at triple the price, but such is the limited edition culture, not just with Oakley. And there isn't anything they can do. I think it'd be cool if they only went to O stores, no online and no 3rd party crap. Put in the effort and go stand in line.
