****ty thing is a lot of us live 2 plus hours from an oakley and some not even close to one. Online need to be done. But the way oakley does there releases is dumb. Lapstone had a 1 item per custom which helps prevent it.Of course it's great marketing for the masses, but thankfully they do these things for people like us. Sure you're likely to not get one, I've been there, but they aren't participation trophies.
I think it's really cool that they do these so limited. It makes them more special when you manage to get one. If they did 5,000 or so of these they'd be selling for half off on Amazon and Ebay in a month or two. (SubZero MUZM). I wouldn't have sold mine if they were more limited.
What sucks is how many people manage to get them for the sole purpose of re-selling at triple the price, but such is the limited edition culture, not just with Oakley. And there isn't anything they can do. I think it'd be cool if they only went to O stores, no online and no 3rd party crap. Put in the effort and go stand in line.
