Wasn’t it like 2 weeks the did the tball yellow mumbo heater after the mumbo pro release ?

It would be nice if they did "presale" for items like this and gauged initial interest. The limited thing is cool...but with items they haven't made in 20-30 years why not sell as many as you can considering all of the marketing efforts that go into it. I would think they could still be selling Mumbos and the fact that they don't is maddening considering the amount of generic looking glasses they turn out.

That diminishes the hype around it. Like I said, they would end up in the "Sale" section (shame shame shame) if they weren't limited. Everyone claims to want the old **** back but it flat out doesn't sell well in todays culture. It only sells out because it's limited.

You can get the EJ MUZM for less than retail now, the SubZeros were less than half off in less than a month after the release.

We are a niche market whether we like it or not.

I keep trying too and somehow I just got an order to go through a bit ago. Waiting for the cancellation email. If they were truly not offering them anymore, I would hope they would pull the page down. Probably a lot to ask for these internet illiterate dbags.

If they took orders (say 600 people order them on launch day) they would know how many to manufacture and there would be no surplus. I agree it is cool to have something that is limited and that increases the demand for sure.

I think it would be great if they chose not to cap the limited run, but create a sense of urgency with a set time limit to purchase. One day/hour/etc and if you miss the cut off then you're buying on the secondary market. This way it's still a limited product.
