Oakley MOON

You're married to them now; time to get creative!

I would start preconditioning them with some auto conditioner for plastics, vinyl. I use the attached stuff for my car and bike because it's not greasy/oily. Definitely soak them in warm water before you start to soften the plastic. Use the conditioner as lube and work slow! Someone else can advise which area to apply pressure to pop out the lens.

Good luck

As an auto enthusiast and proud owner of a 1979 Trans Am (hence the username), be careful about which auto products you try. I like this idea a lot, but I would be very careful with the older black paint on the frame. Black is tough to work with.
I chickened out on doing it myself, sent them to Chris A. to cut sapphire lenses and try to install them.🙏😰

...ah...where is the rest of the story?...what happened? I must know

Since I ain't finding any beater Mars or Craters I also started looking for similar frame I could tinker with some croc leather...this ain't looking like a good option 😏
