Oil Rig II Castle Icons - Can they be painted

Any easy way to paint - small things like icons, is using nail varnish. Main thing is to get the whole icon properly degreased - then never touching it with bares hands until the finish is complete.

On upside down masking tape…. Any imperfections can usually be polished out.
