I have some advice. Wear a pair when you travel and take a different pair each time. You will get good memories and actually use all of them. Each pair of my glasses has been in different countries.

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of NSJ99s, but keep coming back with Minutes. These are my newest pair - FMJ Gunmetal/Emerald - they were in such great shape I couldn’t turn them down

Juliets rubies went to Cozumel Mexico, Romeo plasma went to Domincia Republic, Clifdens to zip lining in Costa Rica, Mars xmetal to Haiti, and all my xmetals to California. I would say each one have a special memory. But the Juliet was the one that started it all.

I see them for sale at such wild prices, occasionally at 500ish, but have heard 300-400 could get a pair. The rest are like 1k+ that I see so it’s hard for me to know what’s worth it or overpriced

I am a no box or coin collector. It helps to keep prices down. I would argue $400 to 450 is a decent price. But if you find one with a complete set, that will cost you more.

Please avoid Ebay prices, they are full of fakes. There are plenty of threads here which explain how to spot fakes. I always look for screw heads, serial numbers, and hinge location. Those are big give aways. Check out my posts and you can see my collection. It should be called deflated wallet lol.

I have 13 pairs of Juliet’s and I never paid over $300 for them. But, I bought them about 5 years ago. The Romeo 2 was a $162 Just a sample of what I paid.

I was able to get these at pretty fair prices, and I think I have a good idea about polymer models now, but I’ve got a lot to learn about X-Metals.
