I removed the o rings and have had no issues with lens falling or wiggling out.

That would mean you're blessed with larger sized lenses. I removed mine and had rattling on 1 lens, and falling off on the other lens. And both lenses are OEM.

Correct I failed to mention they were after market lens. OEM are difficult to find and if they are available they require an arm, leg and removal of the right testical to aquire.

There's a round gasket where the lens screw goes through. They may drop off and roll away once you remove the screw. No biggie if you lose them - I've got spares[/QUOTE
