I'll chime in. I did get my account hacked last year and someone set up sales threads and took some money from folks which sucks. I dont remember my password being easy but to be honest I dont think it was super difficult either. I know this sucks for dragonvoi and everyone else. I started getting messages when I got hacked because he was selling stuff I didnt have in my collection and the vernacular was way off.

Rule #1 with anything I sell. I WILL NEVER ASK FOR A F&F PAYMENT. If you want to send it that way i am good with that but i will not ask. I dont care about the new tax laws. I already have to turn in all my accounts and I keep good record of the $$ I spend on the stuff that gets sold. If I ask for a F&F payment during a transaction IT IS NOT ME. I also do not use venmo or any other payment/ crypto service. It's Paypal, cash, or no deal.

Hopefully this all gets cleared up soon but once again, be vigilant if it seems too good.

Great perspective and completely agree. I'll also echo that your password strength doesn't always matter - it's usually more about whether your password has been compromised in a previous breach. Once it has its out there in massive databases for sale/readily available on the dark web. Usually just a matter of time / getting picked out of the bunch.

As I mentioned earlier tools like SpyCloud (SpyCloud | Prevent Account Takeover & Online Fraud) and others track these breaches and show you which passwords are compromised. I have no affiliation to these tools so to each their own.

I’m getting a lot of server errors when I try to react and post right now, are you doing an update?

You guys gotta learn how to do your taxes. It really shouldn’t be that bad unless you’re ultra flipping, and even then, you only get taxed on the profit.
No being it’s a hobby you can’t deduct purchases since a new tax act in 2018. You’d have to set up a business to deduct purchases.

If you cant deduct the purchases and associated costs then they shouldnt be able to tax you on the sales, plain and simple.

Don’t say it’s a hobby, that’s the worst of all worlds. You just fill out a 1040 Schedule C: Profit or Loss From Business Form. You don’t need to request a certificate of authority (tax stamp, etc) if you’re just an individual working out of your home. Plus You can then deduct home office expenses.
