cost was not 100.00 per sunglass......Cost was almost $100. For a pair of Juliets, there were close to 20 pieces. All the metal parts were cast using a lost wax process wherein the mold is destroyed each time. Then each part had to be cut off the sprue frame by hand, and finished by hand. Then they were all assembled by hand. I don't remember what the actual man-hours count per frame was, but the labor alone would've worked out to at least $25...
geee.. dont think you should know that info..... give your self better knowledge! In what capacity?
Once again, not trying to be rude or pushy. But I could tell you I worked for McDonalds, that doesn't mean I know how much the company invests in worker training and what the raw cost of a Big Mac is.
I have a few rants on the forums over the last year or two. Lots of people come on claiming to have heard, or know a guy at HQ who told them such and such. Showing up on the forum and saying things like "All China production is frames only, lenses are still made here" without any kind of "because when I was at HQ Colin Baden told me himself" substantiation to your claims means you could be lying out your ass.
You'll notice threads like this one are rife with that kind of stuff. "They're bringing X-Metals back in 2015". How do you know "A guy at an O Store told me." Sure. Ok. I believe you.
Umm, what?geee.. dont think you should know that info..... give your self better knowledge!
Some mine of n00b code?Umm, what?
