According to the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, "everyone has a price …"

However, I'm guessing most of you own a pair of Oakleys that you would never sell.

Maybe it's a grail piece that took you years to acquire, maybe it's a pair that has some sort of memory attached to it, or maybe for some other reason ...

So, what pair of Oakleys that you own do you plan on never selling?

💀

Wow, what great question! But what does one base his/her answer on? Badass Coolness? Comfort? Lens color? Rarity? Desirability? Hmmmmmm 🤔 Tough question, but at the moment, of the few pair that I currently own, if I was forced to part with all but one, it'd be between my R1's, and my Mars I guess. To be totally honest though, I can't see myself ever letting any of my glasses go unless I had absolutely no choice 🤷‍♂️

Even though I do have a fairly large collection, I'm loathed to let any of them go. I collect for the aesthetics: the beauty of design and genius of materials.

Why are you making us choose? :taunt:
Jupiter Squared Valentino Rossi that my wife purchased for me (only pair she's purchased for me), my signed Juan Pelota jawbone, my @Wavecloud’s Customisation custom Aussie jawbone, my blends custom Frogskin (by @SouLFuLFroG) with signed paraphernalia, and custom signed hulk Juliet (by @zwc0442) (the feel of the finish is simply amazing).

I'd consider those irreplaceable.

No, its not the most expensive one in my collection. It's not an uber-rare model. Neither it's made from a rare material.

Of all the pairs I own, including 4 Split Shots in various colorways, this Polished White Split Shot (icons interchanged with matte black pair) is my most loved - there's something about the way it appeals to my heart that makes it so beloved.

Not sure if this particular colorway is discontinued, can't find any white Split Shots on sale any longer - I'm now ever more determined to preserve this one.

I've been looking for one too. CNt find em anywhere.

This is a tough question but overall these are 4 pairs that I own which I will never sell.

First pair is actually the first pair of Oakley's I ever owned. I was in Colorado on vacation and found a pair of Juliet's. I loved the look and loved that they were different than many other pairs in the look. Unfortunately the whole reason I will never sell them is because of this memory: when I was driving I had to get something out of my trunk. I set them on the sill of the trunk and *BAM* shut the trunk with my sunglasses still there except now all I could see were the temple grips sticking out. I fumbled with my keys and opened the trunk quick to find them snap back to shape and never had a scratch. They have been my babies ever since.

The next 2 I did a custom build on the Oakley site as a gift to myself for completing my MBA - Radarlock model.

The last one is the Super Bowl edition Kato's that I bought in 2021. Haven't worn them yet but love their look!

I am currently trying to refurb a pair of Square Wire 2.0 Spring Hinge frames so they could be added to this list when completed. Still need lenses and nosepads tho.
