They refused to pay stupid money to one player. That isnt giving up on your team. Baseball is a weird sport where the the teams with the most all stars dont always win....in fact its the opposite. Look to recent history and astros, giants, royals, and even redsox team last year werent star studded teams. They were teams full of gritty no names who played good together. That was the formula the pirates are after and that doesnt mean they gave up on their team.

They aren’t and aren’t even trying...they are happy collecting their revenue from the Yankees and Red Sox and paying very little for ANY player. Its a flawed system. And the fans are fed up with it...oh, and a lot of locals don’t like how much the city paid/pays to help the pirate ownership stay rich and trade off any player that shows promise.

You got it...it amazes me how this party cannot move on. First thing they need to do is get rid of superdelegates. Then that will show to me they are a party of the people. The RNC has that right and I think it’s a big reason Trump was voted in.
