Time to change the New member requirements

I'm one of the newer members. Not new to Oakley been buying since eye jackets in the 90's. I posted my intro with some ideas of what I have to sell. Some guys asked ?'s about for sale, I answered back with "I have to do my days and posts to sell". We as new members also need to respect membership rules. I have not listed anything yet, I'm trying to figure good prices, value my stuff fairly.
Thank you for showing respect and good character... you will be a valued member here!

True value comes when you purchase the lifetime premium membership
Nah. Everyone has different motives for doing things. Like me purchasing the lifetime. I didn’t do it for respect or to earn trust. You can’t buy respect or trust. Here’s why I did it. At one time I felt a lot of animosity from many members who backed a criminal that was stealing from other people here. The convicted lifelong criminal with a lengthy police record was giving away things that he stole, and people actually believed he was great guy for it. So much so that they berated me a lot. It was so bad that some went as far as telling me I should leave this place and go crawl under a rock. That kind of stuff. But instead it made me angry and made me want to stick around even more. So my purchasing a lifetime then, was my way of saying F-U, I’m never leaving now. I did it out of spite. In the end the criminal was exposed and banned. But I still stick around for all the ones that backed him that are still here. :cool:🖕

@OakleyBoss
Now please prohibit the sharing of phone No. and emails addresses with new members.
I'm all for this. But all the flippers have to do is wait two weeks, then start their dirty dealings. The last guy with tons of stuff to sell may have sold his stuff to one of our local flippers, because they have the money to drop and buy all at once. The guy talked about helping out the collectors, then disappeared. Not looking good, and there's really no way to stop them.

After two weeks, a new Member should be able to make better decisions who to deal with.
If you revering to the guy with 600+ Frogskins, I would have advised him to sell the whole lot to a flipper and be done with. Moving that amount goods is a bloody nightmare. By the time he sold first 100 the market is saturated and will dry up.

I pray that happened. And may that person get stuck with those for many, many years to come. Whatever I saw, I ain't even gonna touch if that really happened. Not unless it's actually listed reasonably.

Is he why the “stolen Oakleys” thread was started?
