Watches Other Than Oakley

No, it’s a Sellita SW220, though it would’ve been nice if they had used one of their in house movements. It would’ve also upped the price a good deal more.
It’s due to arrive back on Tuesday…had it for less than a month or so and it developed severe timing issues in the winding mechanism 🙄. Still trying to pursue the exact issue that had developed.

It’s rather sad. Technology has brought lots of improvements to the items we use everyday. No one carries a sundial around anymore. For those that feel their smartphone or Apple Watch get the job done I believe they are missing the point. It’s nice to see you express nostalgia for a traditional time piece.

Wrist watches are more than just a method to tell time. A fashion statement, a conversation starter, a mechanical movement and all of its intricacies which put anyone who admires it into a class that smartwatches can’t ever hope to compete with.

I recently replaced the capacitor on several Timebombs I have. It renewed my passion for their design and I wear them more often now. I’d never wear anything else.
