What Are You Driving ?

It's a Mini Countryman, AKA the Mini that isn't mini.

Harder to get in and out for me since it's 2 door and I'm sitting behind the B pillar. They had to order parts for my car to do a warranty service after I may have cooked some of the plastic bits with the turbo overheating. The car recorded an overheat, so they're doing an oil change (that I'm due for anyway) and replacing everything that got damaged. And adding in a heat shield.

The original Mini was mini.

BMW's Mini is comparatively huge.

When the original wheel size was a 10 inch and didn't change for 24 years, they're def a little bigger now!

Which mini you have? normal S or the Works?

Normal S. There's a few pics back in the thread.

I have plans to do a few cheap mods when the warranty is up next June. Intercooler, CAI, turbo muffler delete. Maybe wheels and tires and keep what's on it dedicated for winter. Should be about $300 for the engine mods and increase fuel economy and add a few BHP. It's my daily driver so I'm not keen to try and do a ton of mods and tear it up so everything I'm doing will be reversible. Plus people get nervous buying tuned cars and I don't plan on keeping it more than a year or three.

I got mine used, 2009 with 19,500 miles and I paid $18.5. It's been shy of 3 months and I've put 6k more miles on it.

It is one of my favourite.it is like a cart, very capable at turnings, but you know all that stuff cause you drive it every day. The only drawback is that in my country tthis car is a fashion victim, bought by many people who like the air of lifestyle that this car give them without taking advantage of the driving potentials of themanyway this car with a first stage tuning (exhaust,i/c,remap and air intake improvement)becomes a rocket ready to embarass much more expensive cars.
