What's On Your Plate???

Kabocha season.
I do prefer kabocha-style squashes to almost every squash or pumpkin we get in the UK. Particularly the most easily available, butternut squash, which has a boring flavour and is nearly always served undercooked. I say almost, because we can occasionally get delica pumpkins from Italy, which cost about five times as much as any other but are the tastiest squash I’ve ever eaten.
