A bummer but not surprising. I always heard that meat in general was costly in Japan…esoteric like bison would be more so if available. Can’t get it readily back in PA for that matter. Good stuff leaner and with a very slight gaminess which I quite like.

Tell me you’ve never had a tasting menu without telling me you’ve never had a tasting menu. That was 10 courses, you’re not leaving hungry. Hackneyed comment that people make all the time from a lack of understanding.

Ah sorry, I thought it was a comment I’d heard hundreds of times before, hence the edge in my reply! Yes, some of it is very pretty but I’ve never found one to be too pretty to eat before!

This one was very clever and tasted at least as good as it looks!
