I am disappoint......

Pho is a Vietnamese soup...

has Vietnamese noodles, some variation of broth, bean sprouts, cilantro, sometimes pork, sometimes chicken, sometimes tripe, sometimes beef <--- either one will work, most of the time all is the best

I refer to it as the Vietnamese Menudo....

I guess we dont have any of that around here. How is it different than other Asian noodle soups? At the hibachi grills they serve a soup / broth as an appetizer. Then there is the wonton soup made with either chicken or beef wontons in a broth w/ onions and spices.

Last night's dinner. Grilled chicken and shish kabobs, consisting of cubed steak, onions, grape tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and of course pineapple. Excuse the blurry picture; must have been the alcohol. White rice from the amazing Zojirushi rice cooker was also devoured.
