Oakley Holbrook Ti Sunglasses Review
Our Sunglasses
For our review, we tried a pair of Matte Gunmetal Holbrook Ti sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire Polarized lenses (Product Link), and these are definitely our new favorite Holbrooks! Now, let’s explain why.
Frame, Design, and Initial Impressions
When we first saw the original Holbrooks in person, I remember being surprised at how normal sized they were. Holbrooks for some reason, always look much larger online than they actually are. But once I tried them on, I loved them and that started a love of Holbrooks.
With the release of the Holbrook Ti, Oakley gave a much-needed update to this line. Featuring a thin titanium frame and earstems, these are the first Holbrooks that doesn’t feature the normal thick frame design. And we are definitely a fan!
When you first hold these sunglasses, they not only feel lighter, they feel higher quality. They remind us of picking up a pair of X-metal sunglasses and thinking these are definitely premium sunglasses.
But there are still some typical Oakley features not on this frame. For instance, you won’t find the typical unobtanium earsocks or nosepads on the Ti. Instead, the frame features titanium earstems with no padding. And the nosepads are the standard clear pieces you find on Oakley prescription eyewear. This isn’t too surprising since the original Holbrook frame doesn’t include either of these pieces of all.
We also noticed that the Holbrook Ti is made in China. This isn’t too surprising since Oakley has moved a lot of production overseas in recent years. But we would of loved a Ti pair of sunglasses to be made in the USA.
Overall, Oakley definitely upgraded the Holbrook line with the Ti frame, and we are loving it!
Prizm Lenses
Our sunglasses featured Oakley Prizm Sapphire Polarized lenses, which are a part of the Prizm Everyday collection. Since we already reviewed these lenses before, we won’t go into full details here. But overall, they added a nice pop of color to this luxury-looking frame.
From a visibility standpoint, we’d say these had slightly more field of view thanks to the thinner frame, especially in the nose bridge. Compared to the original Holbrooks, which feature a nosepiece integrated into the O Matter frame, the Holbrook Ti offers more negative space as a part of its lighter appearance.
Plus, all of the Holbrook Ti colorways (listed below) feature Prizm Lenses! Oakley’s has made a huge push on Prizm Lenses, with contrast-enhancing lens technology becoming the standard for every frame!
Now let’s talk about the size of this frame!
Size and Dimensions
Oakley Holbrook sunglasses are generally a medium size frame, and the Holbrook Ti is a similar size to the other sunglasses in the Holbrook family. Thanks to their square shape, they’ll generally look best on people with round or oval faces. But that doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t rock them! It will all depend on your preference and the look you’re going for. And thanks to their medium size but thinner appearance, they’ll work well for larger heads too!
We’ve listed the complete dimensions below for reference:
- Frame Width: 133mm
- Temple Length: 139mm
- Bridge Height: 18mm
- Lens Height: 44mm
- Lens Width: 57mm
Available Colorways
The current Holbrook Ti lineup is available with 4 colorways, including various Prizm lenses, that we’ve included below. Plus, the frame is now a part of the Oakley Custom Program.
- Matte Gunmetal / Prizm Sapphire Polarized

Final Thoughts – Are They Worth It?
We loved wearing the Holbrook Ti Lite, thanks to its sleek, updated design. After wearing these for the past two weeks, they are absolutely our favorite new Holbrooks in the line.
Plus, introducing Titanium to the Holbrook line excites us for the possibility of more Titanium frame Oakleys coming in the near future.
Overall, we love the lighter design of this frame that can be worn from the street to a wedding.
We’d recommend the Holbrook Ti for anyone who wants a pair of sunglasses they can wear to work, or at a wedding without looking like they came from the golf course.

Yes, replacement Holbrook Ti lenses are available directly through Oakley (Product Link), along with a variety of aftermarket manufacturers.
