Finally i got both OG airmax III, Radiant Red and Laser Blue. I remember crying over these shoes when i was on 5th grade as nike doesnt have my size. The smallest size they have in the philippines is in mens size 6 and im size 5 LOL, back then in the 90’s there are no available GS or big kids size for this shoe. Now im glad i have them both

one of my retro grails showed up today. these are one of my favorite shoes of all time. I'm not sure if these are still getting a general release or not as they were supposed to be a December release, but they are trickling in to mom and pop sneaker shops. found them on sneakerhubs website. i think they are sold out already.

That's pretty much name of the game with these retro's lately. CB, Penny, etc. Grab them the second you see them because the release dates are unreliable on anything that isn't a current signature for some reason. Glad you snagged your pair.

I'm gonna be that way if I ever see the Air Flight Turbulence come back.

I saw nightwings video about these foamposite lows that went unreleased and were being dumped at Ross and Burlingtons. i thought they were pretty cool and sure enough Ross had a pair in my size. i guess they were supposed to be for Roger Federer but he split from Nike in 2018 or whatever. they are a tennis shoe with nike tennis court logos on the insole. i thought a low top foamposite was a bit unique and was worth picking up since they are going for only 60 bucks.

I thought about going after a pair too. How's the heel?

With the regular Foams that's the glaring weak point for me. Lacks interior sculpting (believe the Penny 1 was also like that), and I straight up have to tie harder to make up for the heel slip.

I put a normal foamposite one on my right foot and the low top on the left foot just now. the heel does feel like it hugs a bit tighter on the low, but that could also be because my foamposite ones are a bit broken in.

To be honest i never paid attention to the heel lockdown on the foamposite one because i mostly use them for casual and keep them loose in the first place. if i play ball i usually grab my Jordan 29s or 31s.

Adidas Kanye West Quantum "Barium"

Been very lukewarm about this line. I get the 350 in particular is a comfortable shoe, but the retail price is so off base. I'm sure there are people who genuinely like the shoe and Kanye, but I feel the majority were in it just because they couldn't think for themselves. Kanye is not Jordan. I think most people don't even really listen to Kanye (I tuned out going into 808 era), I guess much in the same way a lot of people never followed Jordan or basketball but hound for his stuff. Difference is there's no legacy or history that comes with these shoes. These shoes never won anything or had any moments to warrant their even more exaggerated premium.
The construction and design is really nothing to write home about. It's not just hype, but false hype imo. Credit to Adidas and Kanye for successful business, though.

This is literally everything I anticipated it'd be, which is good and bad.

Functionally the platform and containment can pass. Wouldn't say it's exceptional in any regard, but for the sake of being another option, it's there. Wide base, rigid heel counter, decent lacing system, Boost still has something to show for it, but there's some volume in the fit. The tongue is a bit weird and borderline shorter than the top lace row. It's different aesthetically, but hardly inspiring. In terms of functional elements it brings nothing new to the table.

I didn't buy the shoe to hate it. Something to wear. Took interest in the Quantum because of its suggested basketball duality. These aren't really flying from stores so I figure I'd take the chance at retail + no tax in case there's a heel turn in case there were pleasant surprises, but there's none. There are simply better things inside of $250.

Shoot, black-on-black-on-black foams. These were a need. Obviously have to get it. They have to get got. I've got things to do and funerals to go to, like yours.

These, my black Zoom Rookies that took some mauling from a chihuahua, winter 12's...Man I don't even have snow, but I'm set for the winter. Jump in puddles and kick people in the mouth, and stuff like that.

I used to have more sneakers than sunglasses. That’s now not the case anymore. But did pick these up this week. Sickest colorway IMHO.
