Blade versus BLade II (metal band)

Thinking of buying a Blade with a metal band, since the rubber strap on my beloved Blade II is dying. And I want to wear it. On the O-review reviews I read that the Blade I metal band has problems, which are solved in Blade II?

Can anybody enlighten me, should I take a pass on Blade I's ?

Blade 1 is only the rubber band if I remember correctly. Blade 2 are all stainless bracelets. I've never seen an issue with a Blade 2 stainless bracelet or clasp.

There is also a difference of where the "Swiss made" stamp is located on the dial if I remember correctly

Well, not sure about the vampires, but indeed, I'm getting all kinds of answers to questions I did not ask. Weird right? My only question is:

On the O-review reviews I read that the Blade I metal band has problems, which are solved in Blade II. Can anybody enlighten me, should I take a pass on Blade I's ?

p.s. Something similar is happening on another watch topic I started. I Asked people to measure the pin-to-pin distance on two watch models for me. A 3 minute job. But.... total silence....
