Here's a strength test on the repair:

That strength test is spectacular. What ever you did, it worked a miracle for that pair. Nice work.

You can see my fingers shaking towards the end of the vid for the final strength test. That's beyond the reasonable amount of force anyone would use to yank their frames to remove a lens, so I'd say this pair is as good as new, except for the minor scars.

That is pretty damn cool, I didn't think damage like that could be fixed, although couldn't doubt your plans as I don't know you're background looking forward to seeing the linegear ones getting the treatment!

I'm also pretty impressed at how far they can bend without distortion, regardless of repair! Makes you appreciate how much abuse x metal can take before it folds!
