Cutting Lenses - What Works

What lens works for Romeo 1 that has black or gold iridium? Seems like flak jacket xlj does not fit with R1.

According to the spreadsheet the Flak XLJ is supposed to fit the R1 but maybe it's just very tight and no room for error. Gold Iridium looks like only Flak Jack XLJ is a good doner. For Black Iridium you have a much better doner like the Plaintiff and you can get both polar and non-polar also the Plaintiff lens is likely large enough to completely avoid the Polarized etching, but I'll confirm this soon.

Flak XLJ does work, just did a photo-chromatic set. Its critcal on placement, there were 3 spots that I did not remove any material, top bottom and inside edge.

No, unless it is the old XLJ shape, the new does NOT work. I have them in hand and can 100% guarantee they don't and they are fresh from the Lobby Store at HQ.

no wonder mine does not fit. Update on the spreadsheet on this one...

I have said it many times, but the lens pros here have decided otherwise. Maybe make it like all the MLB record holders stats with an * now lol

said what? what works is what fits? well thats pretty obvious, but not applicable in the given situation

I am no lens pro for sure, only have done 2 Romeos and an XX and botched one of those. How do you tell the difference in old and new XLJ's? I got mine from HQ about a month ago, no box from the warranty dept, would assume they are the newest.
