Use the 300 for all, then maybe a 600 at the end with water for the edges. Do not take the tape off till its fitted in the frame. IF you can get the nubs together, then stop, you will only ruin it if you go further

You guys want to learn how to chop lenses? No BS sandpaper involved, no nonsense? Maybe I should offer an instructional deal. The way to do them proper. Polished edges (without sanding or any of that), beveling, all of it...who would be interested? I did an old one, but many many things have changed with that. And seeing as how I really don't want to cut lenses anymore, I can offer the ability to teach anyone who is interested. Screw it. There is alot to be said for the tricks and tips that can help save one a ton of money, or earn it as well.

YES, I think that would be great, I would learn something for sure myself. I am sure the Forum Members would really appreciate that.no, I don't mean silly write up. I mean step by step HD video. Start to finish and not just O Matter based chops, I mean wire, x metal, o matter etc. How to combat lens cracking on R1, reverse beveled lenses, and more. Polishing edges without sand papers, cutting without bench grinders and files...A real in depth training.
