hi, i'm not sure if this was discussed before but i'm planning to make a custom x-squared infinite hero. i already know that the fuel cell is a good donor lens for the x-squared but will i be able to get the cross etching in the correct spot? also, what's the best way to get the ih rubber set? can i get them direct from oakley or do i have to take from a donor juliet? thank you.

The fuel cell is not a good match. You want the split jacket. And with that you can preserve the etching.

Rubber will have to come from a Juliet or you may be lucky enough to pay a ridiculous price for just the set alone

Half Jacket and Half Jacket XLJ work great for Splice and Unknown.
