Introduce Yourself!

Hi. Just joined. Have owned a pair of Oakleys for a while. Just doing some reading and found the forum. I have some eye issues and hate contacts, so I got prescription lenses in my Crosshair 2.0. My optician did a pretty remarkable job getting my high-cylinder prescription into a frame with that curve. But it's a thick lens, and can pop out, so I don't wear them for cycling or sports (given my rx, I have to wear cycling glasses w/ an adapter. Not the same field of vision, though). I was "only" in my 50s when I bought them, but now that I'm in my 60s, they might be a bit young. But with all I spent on that frame and those lenses, I'm not giving them up.

Hi everyone I’m a new member . My first pair of Oakley I ever bought were the Oakley Fives 1.0 in black . Have been a fan ever since .

Hello all. I'm new around these parts but a proud Oakley owner for the last 4-5 years. I proudly own a plasma Juliet, a polished Penny and a pair of Oakley prescription eyeglasses. I was directed here by a former member for custom lense help.

Greetings.

Been collecting for about 17 years, but have been a fan for over 20...

My personal favorites are X-Metals, Gascans and Over The Tops (OTT). I tend to collect X Metals, Artist Series and Frogskins, though I have yet to turn down a random pair of anything if I like the way it looks.

I also collect display items, if its rare I want it! When I first started collecting like many of us I didn't know I was collecting, I was just buying what I liked and I didn't think to keep packaging and this kills me now as my collection has reached the point were room must be made at times for new pieces and I don't have the box to properly store the ones going into the drawers.

I love this hobby and hope that my wife will continue to look the other way when I head up to the counter, hey she has her shoes that I try not to talk about...lol

i have a question for you i have a pair Oakley juliet titanium with gold irinium with the box and the Xmetal coin can you help me to tell how much are worth

Hello you fabulous band of legends, i do have a noticeably less intense interest in Oakleys than some of the devout fans on here. However , my quest is for a good cause and i am under strict time pressure so i will dive straight in.

After reading a few threads i think its safe to say this community looks awesome. Congrats to the staff and mods!!!
