Introduce Yourself!

Hi from Boise Idaho. I’m Leroy and I’ve bought nothing but Oakley since the og frogskins back in nam lol. Wish I still had my juliets because they fit me better than any other pair ever. I’ve started blowing glass and I’m wondering if there’s a way to get the sodium flare protective lenses made up for any of my Oakley’s I own as I don’t want to buy an awkward fitting pair of glasses if I don’t have to any information would be helpful. Thanks and nice to meet everyone

Hello!
I've been wearing/Collecting Oakley's for over 20 years now, My favorites are my Juliet's (Both Pairs are in need of a "Tune Up") Huge fan of the metal sunglasses. The Pride of my Collection is my Icon Watch. Sadly, due to Exes who wanted to get even, parts of my collection has been stolen/Resold on eBay without my knowledge. I've been working on rebuilding and getting back what I had.

Hi.
I have had my X-metal XX for over twenty years now and have been through quite a few scrapes with them including my girlfreind now wife shutting them in a car door when we were first dating.

Hello,
i'm new from Italy.
I win a pair of Eye Jacket in 1996 ina speedway race......I have not abandoned since then!!!

Hello from Virginia! I've been an Oakley fan/enthusiast/collector for nearly 20 years. It started with drooling over the original Eye Jackets as a kid and finally buying my first pair of Straight Jackets in the early 2000's. Eventually, I purchased a pair of pre-loved Juliet's (polished frame with Fire Iridium lenses), but sold them a few years later and still regret it. It's incredible how well so many of the X-Metal designs have aged! After a long break from purchasing any new pairs, I've recently been drawn back in after picking up a pair of Flight Jackets for mountain biking. I was so impressed with how well they performed, I quickly added another pair along with a few additional lenses to my arsenal. My most recent purchase was the color-shift Troy Lee Designs edition Holbrooks (couldn't pass up grabbing both colors)! Looking forward to joining in on discussions and seeing other members collections!

What's up.
I'm from the Bay Area and been a fan for over a decade. My first pair is an Oil rig.
Thanks!

Hello,

a lover of sunglasses and aclient mad about Oakley

Hello, new guy here. I have a couple old pairs of glasses that are looking for a new home. I already collect poker chips on PCF, so I don’t need another hobby. Just want em to go where they will be appreciated.

Hi.

I am living in Thailand and have Scalpel and Split Jacket.

Time to get a new set.

Hi guys, how are you today. Hope all is well.

This forum is a great resource, and I found it on accidentally on pure luck. Next, I'll be posting in the thread for identifying Oakley sunglasses. Thank you.

Take care

Aloha.

I am yet to purchase sunglasses, but I am looking forward to buy like these ones (with red logo).

Hello all. I have been a fan of Oakley sunglasses since I was a kid. First pair I bought was Sub Zeros, back in 1994. I was 14 and spent all the money I had on them, about $110 I think. My mom said it was dumb but ya know what, I still have them and while they are a bit rough, they are totally wearable. The last few years I have started buying Frogskins because I love the timeless style.
I decided to join this forum to learn more about what all may be out there and to enjoy looking at everyone's collections.
:welcome:

Hello again

I currently wear Activate spectacles, and own a pair of Holbrooks and EV Zeros for cycling.

I joined this forum as I recently lost my beloved garage rock sunglasses in brown wood-grain with brown lenses. These were my go to glasses and I am really quite devastated to learn that Oakley discontinued them. Its amazing how something I loved so much, could be deemed to be unnecessary or unprofitable by another.
Anyway, that's a little about me.

Thanks
Jason

Sorry I should clarify, my EV Zeros are the EV Zero Ascend.

These are excellent for cycling as they are light, the lens does not touch your face and so does not get sweaty or dirty with perspiration, and the absence of frame makes visibility from these glasses second to none. The lens is the Prizm lens which is also fantastic.

Thanks
Jason
