Oakley and Dillon Collaboration

I know how dead sexy they look but the issue I had was when I got my dillons I noticed they had a little depth distortion but I think it’s due to stress of frame. Is that issue present when you put it in a PB1?
Can I ask what you are seeing with this “depth distortion”? The human body is an amazing thing and can normally adapt to any slight distortions.

Focus on an object in the distance. Slowly put the frame on, concentrate on that exact spot. The object will jump considerably when putting on frame. This won’t happen with my Oakley lenses but again, I think it’s due to stress of frame and nothing to do with lens since y’all think I’m crazy, LOL.

So I did this test and saw very slight movement with my “factory”Pit Bulls, a little more movement with my custom cut OEM Juliet’s and the most with my Dillons. But once I have them on, my perceptions adjusts. You must have some seriously “sensitive” eyes, my friend. :)

I do, have numerous retinal tears in both eyes unfortunately.

Retinal tears? Can’t you go blind from that? Or is that retinal detach? I know my father had to go through some laser surgery for soemthing with his retinas. Either way, sorry to hear that...

Detachment can cause you to go blind, not tears. If the tear develops into a detachment then I can, which is why I wear sunglasses most of the time. Sudden flashes of light can turn the tear into detachment. Eye fatigue can stress them moreso. That’s why I said my opinion is a personal one and by no means reflects on other’s opinions.

Think of a rubber band with holes in it. Pull it far enough and those holes turn into detachment.

Do you see a retina specialist? I know my father has one and when his one eye started to detach he had to be at the doctors office within a couple of hours in order for the laser surgery to work. I guess if he wouldn’t have made it, the surgery is much worse.
Again, sorry to hear you have this issue.

I do, for now it’s stable but surgery is required in the future.
