I had debated as to whether I post them on this thread or PM them directly to @SiRacer420 . In the end I decided to post them so that everyone can see them following the previous contributors and at the same time make them available to the masses for reference and verification.@cacatman as much as I like the idea of posting the SKU's of frames on the forum, I feel that each individual list should benefit from its own thread, unless you create a general list in the first post of this thread and hyperlink each to the page that the specific list is on. It'll make it easier to reference and find in the future. In addition to to this, if you're hosting each list, the responsibility will also lie with you to edit and update them all, ultimately making you the OF comparison of what Dann was responsible for on OR.
If an individual thread per frame is decided on, then the title of the threads could be made consistent for ease of searching (i.e.: SKU List: X-Metals | SKU List: Frogskins | SKU List: Radarlock | etc)
Just my 2 cents
The idea of having each frame listed in it's own thread is more to allow any person searching for a specific SKU (say for instance a Garage Rock) finding it a lot easier by searching the thread title as opposed to scrolling through pages and pages to try and locate that specific information. Unfortunately OF is not designed in such a way that a database can be compiled and searched as easily as it was on OR. The problem I see happening months on down the line, as the thread continues to grow, is that members will spend unnecessary time searching for information they recall seeing and have to sift through the thread pages to try and find what they are looking for.To address the idea that each model should have a thread, I think this would dilute the project. Dispersing the information on different threads. Ultimately this thread is a vehicle to compile information into a central resource, SiRacer420's excellent spreadsheet. Once we have the data, who knows, a more sophisticated searchable database could be produced and also the option for pictures to br added.
