Just don't bend your Temples to the max. That puts the most stress onto the Hinge Assembly.

Average noggin lol, Couple a trys and in the cabinet lol, Newbie suggestion and late to the party but is that spring assy piece Specific to oakley ? If they outsourced theres suppliers that have selections still. Zoye etc

Thats what id have thought, not like theyd need to order in. Ill be very careful when mine arrives and try not to need any advice .

There is not much can do wrong or right.
It's pure bad luck if it snaps apart.
I would put every once in a wile some light oil on it just to keep the friction low.
Like the oil to lube Hair Clipper.

Worse case scenario and they actually snap, go here for hinge repair....

Yep, the ol hinge issue.

Best advice... buy any or all of the other xmetals.
