IMO, any Subzero Planet X that is purchased in the EU from oakley.com will MUST be Planet X frosted - coz EU law clearly states that you have to get exactly the same product as in the photos.
If this is not the case, the consumer may require the seller to provide the product that he ordered via the website, and I doubt that Luxoticie would want to play with the replacement of these glasses coz it will be time-consuming.

or

I wouldn’t hold them to the release total. Only the Xeus has held up.

I ordered a carbon fiber pair on the Oakley site this afternoon. It was an easy choice since I still have my original carbon fiber Subzeros, even though the lens is a little rough. I'm excited to see them side by side. It's the little things.

As for the "limited to # released" I don't believe Oakley any longer, after a few releases that I believe to be understated by quite a bit.
