They do have some outside of the USA, I always presumed they were company owned in the US though.

Sigh... I wish the rumor was true. Maybe it is; maybe it isn't. This isn't the first time this has come up, but that doesn't mean it's real or, if it is, they're true x-metals. Repost:

I can't imagine if there are Juliet 2.0 on the way they would only be a single release. If they are genuine X metals, surely it would be more costly than a C6 etc to tool up somewhere for one frame/lens combo? It'd have to be a wide range of one product or a family again to make it cost effective if they were "normally" priced. Can't imagine the shareholders wanting to take a loss for the sake of mad science can you?

Exactly - which means it's just more BS or reusing the brand on a different product. I'm sticking with the former until I see something concrete. So should everybody else.

I agree a single release doesn't make much sense.. As for franchises I have no clue, perhaps she was talking about a regional manager? I recently found a vault about 50 miles from me and I am Heading there today, I will do more recon. What was weird was I didn't even ask about x metals, this manager just brought it up like, "have you heard?!!" But I hold the same fear of a x-metal recreation that is a subpar quality product.

That would make the most sense to me, I can't seem them bringing back any of the others... Tooling would be cheaper if they just did Juliet's, could have smaller facilities ect. Since Juliet was the number one seller I am sure if they do go down this route that's the only one that's coming back. I just hope they don't come in and try and charge $1000+ For every pair. Or release so many "exclusive" pairs that it degrades the value. The future will be very interesting...
