Rumor: New X-Metal

I was at Tampa Oakley in Brandon mall and there still saying a magnesium pair similar to juliets are supposed to come out. Anybody else being told that?

IDK, earlier rumors were that the madman / badman would be magnesium, and that the badman would be similar to Juliets (which, it turns out, they are not).

So this is likely an out-of-date rumor, but maybe the next frame style after those two will be more Juliet-like. IDK...

They both are very light. There so light that they dont feel like your wearing a metal frame

Yeah, that was one of the recurring concerns with Mg/Al/O-luminum... They would not have the mass and weight to them to feel like they carry on the X-Metal spirit. In a way that is a relief [not trying too hard to be an X-metal], but in a bigger way that probably SUCKS [CAPS=big time] and makes them like a LOT of other glasses.

I was exciting about these two pairs because I love Xmetal very very much, but after holding both pairs and wearing both pairs, I still think there still cool, but they just dont have that feel or touch like how xmetal feels. These two pairs kind of feel like a thinker version of the crosshair using C5 alloy metal. They both are very light. There so light that they dont feel like your wearing a metal frame, feels more like your wearing a O-matter type frame cause there so light, also one good thing is they don't squeeze your head too tight. The Badman are really big glasses, the lens are little bigger then Pitboss2 lens. Almost feel like your wearing a eyepatch2 pair of glasses. My review on the madman, is I wish they fit my face better, look better on people with skinny or narrow faces.

And wider than PBs too? Same curvature maybe?

I actually have a set of Madman; can post a pic of me wearing them (not a spy photo or one "obtained" from who knows where) if it won't cause issues. And a few other shots if people want.
