Things I wish Oakley Would Do...

Oakley wishlist/ramblings, probably sounds naive to some.

1. Split from Lux and privatized, Rayban seem to be of higher priorities to Lux
2. Hire a CEO, perhaps with the name Jim Jannard
3. Restart Titanium Production Plant, move to new X-Metal designs, never go back to old designs unless doing limited one-off runs, old X-metal retain values
4. Restart O-Matter Production in US, this brings back "MADE IN USA" stampings on the frames
4.Go back to Oakley radical design roots
5. Online sales model, avoid having to use SGH/Lux physical distribution channels
6. Invest in logistics/deliveries
7. Bring back old customer service attitude
8. IPO

Queston: where's the money coming from? :(

A : Where it ALWAYS comes from. US!!!! Even if they did all those suggestions, they’d still likely make a profit. It’s just that they’d make less!!! And that’s the problem.

I should leave out point 8. IPO brings in investment, but at the same time accountability. Remain private, less profit is still manageable.
