What's On Your Plate???

That all looks awesome!

I can't really tell from the pics - was the fried shrimp cornmeal or flour breaded? It looks like maybe the ones from your wife and daughter were cornmeal but the ones in the 2nd post flour and in the 3rd, coconut. Personally I prefer cornmeal but I'm not too picky...

I've never really been an IPA / heavy hops guy but in the last month or so I've really gotten into them. I don't know why.

I don't know how the rest of the trip went but it sure looks like you ate well!

The ones at Bahama Breeze were the coconut shrimp with a delicious dipping sauce. Honestly Im not sure about the others but I know they were great. I think the ones at Sharkys were flour but cant remember for sure. Yes, I like to eat well all the time but especially on vacation. Makes it hard to diet. Another cool think about Doc's is they had $2 Shock Top draws and after not finding anything I really like at the brewery it was like heaven!

Just some chicken tenders and fried okra from Lindy's, a local fast food joint.

Beautiful!

I'm very glad you got to stuff yourself with lechon; now I can post pork pics with no guilt...

And I got to see washi without a pair of Oaks on his face...

So, how much longer do you have to live in the land of sand and kings?

When I get gyros I get them from a friend of mine's place down town. He is originally from Syria and he knows his Mediterranean cuisine.
