🦘Who else loves collecting Jawbones or New Racing Jackets?

I just put together the same color combo in a Jawbone that I too bought from Tejada. The jaws are just a hair darker.

Do you think it could be the wrong packaging?

Frame and jaw packaging says Team Bright Green

Probably just painted by different people at different times. One guy may have been heavy handed with the paint and the other was too light.

Probably just painted by different people at different times. One guy may have been heavy handed with the paint and the other was too light.

Typically the jaws will be slightly darker than the uppers I've found, an I speculate it'd based on either of the two variables as to why it happens like this;

Coloring applications used differed
- either upper/temples or jaws are made by casting colored plastic vs, the other part being painted to match; Team Orange pair is like that.

Color was applied in different batches/time periods
- pigment concentration varies slightly in casting mold or paint batch, making the appearance of color slightly different; Team Blue - one set the last 1/3 of jaw towards the bolt gets lighter an slightly more glittery other 2 sets match one another, but are slightly darker than the upper/temples

I've found it's quite common, almost all my pairs have it to a certain degree - proceeds to go check all his frames to see how true my theory is
