Why would anyone do this to a Juliet?

Received lenses a couple years ago as a throw in to a trade. How in the world does someone allow this to happen? Mowing? Weed eating? Notice the ruby learns and four dots. That's not four shadows, but rather four marks from the Iridium peeling/being chipped away. At any rate, I am going to place them as a throw in for a an X Metal Juliet being placed on the X Metal Exchange.

Maybe gravel or a low lying branch? Those lenses may have done exactly what they were designed to do and saved somebody's vision. Cheers to their battle scars!

Might just be normal wear and tear. I've had flakes of iridium come off lenses before just due to normal wear and tear. Oakley lenses have great impact resistance and are shatter proof but they have horrible durability for daily life.

Exactly...heck, throw on a pair of beater lenses but make sure they're OEM. The eye injury will be much more expensive than a $50-100 lens.

Indeed. I use a pit bull. Nice full coverage and it doesn't allow **** to fly in from the sides.

I even designated them for the job.

I had a pair of Flak lenses that looked like that after the fell face down on asphalt. Purely accidental and it was costly but those are now my yard work lenses.
